Effective date: January 1, 2026. Applies to insulationrochester.com and all services provided by Rochester Insulation.
By accessing or using insulationrochester.com or by requesting, scheduling, or receiving services from Rochester Insulation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use this website or request our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone else who interacts with Rochester Insulation through this website or otherwise.
Rochester Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and insulation removal. Services are provided in Rochester, MN and surrounding areas as listed on our website.
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion, including situations where the scope of work is outside our capabilities, safety concerns are present, or we are unable to meet the customer's timeline.
All written estimates provided by Rochester Insulation are based on conditions observed during an in-person assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Prices may change if site conditions differ materially from those observed at the time of the estimate, if the scope of work is modified at the customer's request, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the scheduled start of work.
Verbal pricing discussed during an assessment is not binding. Only written, signed estimates constitute a formal pricing commitment. Before work begins, customers will receive and approve a written scope and price.
Once a project is scheduled, Rochester Insulation reserves that time in our calendar. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance by calling (507) 738-1270 or emailing team@insulationrochester.com.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a scheduling fee, which will be disclosed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to reschedule jobs due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, and will provide as much advance notice as possible when we do.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and prepared as instructed prior to the scheduled start time. If the area is not ready and work cannot begin as scheduled, a trip charge or rescheduling fee may apply.
Payment terms are specified on each written estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the project. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins; any required deposit will be disclosed in the written estimate.
We accept check, cash, and other payment methods as disclosed at the time of your estimate. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by Minnesota law, whichever is less.
If collection action is required to recover unpaid amounts, the customer is responsible for reasonable collection costs, including attorney's fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Rochester Insulation warrants that services will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. If a defect in our workmanship is identified within one year of project completion, we will return to assess the issue and remedy it at no additional charge, provided the defect is not caused by customer actions, third-party activity, settling or structural movement, or conditions not present at the time of the original work.
Product or material warranties, if applicable, are governed by the manufacturer's terms and are separate from this workmanship warranty. We will provide manufacturer warranty documentation upon request.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rochester Insulation's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to services provided under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific services that are the subject of the claim.
Rochester Insulation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow limitations on consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you in full.
Except as expressly stated in Section 6 above, Rochester Insulation provides services on an "as is" basis and disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific energy savings, utility rebate eligibility, or particular comfort outcomes, as results depend on many factors outside our control including home construction, usage habits, and equipment condition.

If a dispute arises between you and Rochester Insulation related to services or these terms, we ask that you contact us first at team@insulationrochester.com or (507) 738-1270 so we have the opportunity to resolve it directly. Most concerns can be addressed quickly when both parties communicate directly.
If direct resolution is not possible, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm. Class action claims and class arbitrations are waived by both parties to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of MN, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration under Section 10 will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Olmsted County, MN.
