Rochester Insulation was founded in 2022 by a team that grew up in southeastern Minnesota and spent years working on homes across the region. We started the company because we kept seeing the same problem: homeowners paying high heating bills every winter and dealing with cold floors, ice dams, and drafty rooms, because their homes had never been insulated to a standard that matches Rochester's climate.
Rochester has a wide range of housing. The older Craftsman homes near downtown, the mid-century ranches built for IBM workers on the southeast side, and the newer subdivisions growing along Highway 52 all have different needs. We have worked on homes from every era and every neighborhood, and that experience shapes how we assess each job.
We are a local company, not a franchise. Every estimate is done in person, every proposal is written, and every crew member is part of our team. Rochester is home for us, and we intend to keep doing this work here for a long time.
Every project is backed by a current Minnesota contractor license and full liability insurance. You can request a certificate of insurance before any work begins.
We assess your home in person, measure what is there, and give you a written price before any work starts. The number you approve is the number on your invoice.

We pull permits when the project requires them and welcome city inspections. That documentation protects you at resale and confirms the job was done to code.
Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry as a residential contractor. This license is required by the state for all insulation and air sealing work performed on homes in Minnesota.
Fully insured on every job. If anything goes wrong on your property during our work, you are covered. We can provide a certificate of insurance before any project begins, at no cost to you.
